Definition of Domestic Partnership:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The<\/u><\/strong> Domestic Partnership <\/u><\/strong>is an affective union of two individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation, who live together in a stable manner, in an affective relationship analogous to the conjugal one, similar and registered in the Public Registry and necessarily entails the effective cohabitation as a couple, that is to say, to live together as a couple in a common dwelling.<\/p>\n

Domestic Partnership Registration Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  1. The following persons may register in the Registry: Appointment in person at 34, Los Madrazos Street, Madrid.<\/b><\/li>\n
  2. Payment of the fee, 82,12\u20ac, to be paid on the day of registration, not on the day of the appointment request.<\/li>\n
  3. Age of majority <\/strong>or emancipated minors.<\/li>\n
  4. Proof of cohabitation in common (registration in common, notarial affidavits of friends, relatives).<\/li>\n
  5. Cohabitation Period 12 months uninterrupted<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. One of the two members at least registered in a municipality of Madrid.<\/li>\n
  7. Marital status must be one of the following: Single, widowed, divorced or judicially separated. The common-law marriage must not be registered in the Registry of another Autonomous Community. <\/li>\n
  8. In case of registration in another Autonomous Community with the same partner, cancel the registration, although it is not necessary to wait the twelve months.<\/li>\n
  9. If it is with a different partner, you must cancel and wait the twelve months to register in the Madrid Community Registry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How to request an appointment for registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Completion of<\/strong> the form “Request for appointment for registration in the Registry of Domestic Partnerships of the Community of Madrid<\/em>” and submit it with all the required documentation (minus the proof of the fee paid that will be presented on the day of registration) at the Registry Assistance Offices<\/a> or at any of the places established in Article 16.4 of Law 39\/2015 of October 1 of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, or by Internet (See how to process<\/a>) through the “Management” section.<\/p>\n

    To submit the application and documentation online,<\/strong> through the electronic registry of the Regional Ministry, it is necessary to have an electronic ID card<\/strong> or one of the electronic certificates recognized by the Community of Madrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    What do you need to submit?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    A. DOCUMENTATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The required documentation (original and photocopy requested) <\/strong>is as follows:<\/p>\n

    1. NIF or NIE<\/strong>, Passport (complete) or Residence Card in force of the applicants and two witnesses(family or friends over 18 years old<\/strong>). Witnesses may present a copy and on the day of registration bring the original.
    2. Certification of the municipal census <\/strong>issued by the Town Hall where they reside. Flyers will not be accepted.
    3. Proof of emancipation<\/strong>, in the case of minors.

    <\/strong>B. RATE<\/strong><\/p>\n

    It is necessary to bring paid fee form 030. The paid fee is delivered on the day of the<\/u><\/strong>registration appointment<\/u>.<\/p>\n

    The payment of the fee shall be made by self-assessment, prior to the date of registration in one of the collaborating deposit entities of the Community of Madrid, and it is recommended that it be made between 2 and 7 days prior to the day of registration.<\/p>\n

    The cost of the registration fee is 82,12 \u20ac.<\/p>\n

    To obtain certificates through electronic payment of fees and in-person collection<\/strong>, you must go to the Registry of Unions of De Facto 48 hours after the telematic payment, since until then we can not check the income in our system.<\/p>\n

    REGISTRATION OF FOREIGN DOMESTIC PARTNERS IN MADRID ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT <\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The two members of the unmarried couple must come with 2 witnesses<\/strong> and declare under oath that they have been living together for 12 months without interruption in an affective relationship, all must come with their identity documents, original and photocopy.<\/p>\n

    APPLICATION FOR DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP CERTIFICATE<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Any member of the domestic partnership may apply.<\/p>\n

    You can apply online for the Domestic Partnership certificate, with electronic signature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Payment of the fee of 12,24\u20ac, prior to the application and accredit with the application the payment of the fee.<\/p>\n

    The certificate will be obtained immediately, through<\/p>\n

    Application for a Domestic Partnership certificate in person<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

    It can be requested by any member of the Domestic Partnership, upon payment of the fee form 030 and providing proof of payment of the fee.<\/p>\n

    You can submit your application at any of the Registry Assistance Offices of the Community of Madrid<\/a>, of the General State Administration, of other Autonomous Communities, of City Councils of the Community of Madrid belonging to the Network of Integrated Citizen Service Offices<\/a>, Post Offices and Diplomatic Representations or Spanish Consular Offices abroad.<\/p>\n
